Since you deleted BCDEdit, which edits boot options for Windows 7, you might still be able to use Boot.ini. It will open with Notepad.

the best solution would be first login to XP and then back your data .Next go the Accessories ---> system tools ---> system restore and then choose the date before you had installed win 7 to your drive and then apply wait for the system to come back it would be fine after that if you cant do that then other way is the format the entire partition which you have used for win 7 installation but even then you will get the option that is the prob with windows when you upgrade any prog to a latest version the older version of the windows file will be replaced by the new one so you cant do anything only option is to restore

goto start --> run and type msconfig. In the boot.ini tab edit the settings to your likings.
