Need info on using corn flour?

We made tamales one night and now have a bag of corn flour. I know I can make tortillas with it but can I just use corn flour like any other flour in cookies and breads? I had a website of recipes using corn flour but it's down I guess. If anyone knows of a website with recipes please share. Thanks.

    masa or corn meal!

I would stash it in ziplock bag in freezer until you get ready to make more tamales. I keep about 6 different types of flours, corn meals and other items of this nature in the freezer at all times. Rye, Oat, Rice, Graham, whole wheat, all purpose, cake, bread, masa harina, masa mais, white corn meal, yellow corn meal. Each is for a purpose and sometimes I go on baking sprees and fill the freezers with breads, coffee cakes, cookies and other goodies so I don't have to do the major baking thing too often.

No, corn flour cannot be used for cakes or breads, because it doesn't work with yeast or other leavening products.
