What is the fear of being murdered or kidnapped?

There are two words to describe fear of death. They are THANATO PHOBIA AND NECRO PHOBIA However Necrophobia also includes fear of dead people, skeletons, etc

However many persons who fear death or kidnapping develop other phobias which are related,and which also put the phobic at risk These are:

Agoraphobia Fear of going out because it could be a risk for for being killed

Claustrophobia Fear of closed places, like elevators, that places the phobic at risk of either being smothered to death, killed by others in the elevator etc

There are other specific phobias like fear of being kidnapped, fear of flying, and acro phobia ( Fear of heights ) All involve possible risks of being killed and losing or giving up control to others

The reasons for the phobia may be unconscious or conscious.

Hypnosis , cognitive behavioural therapy through being gradually exposed to the feared phobia are the best ways of treatment.

If it was considered as part of a phobia then society would see it as abnormal. Then it would be classified as one. Or when it interferes with a persons normal life.

well, i believed it would be kidnapped, because i could get raped, i could be tortured, and if i escape, i could come out with an STD or HIV, so i rather be murdered.. :-(

um, who isn't afraid of that? lol

I don't know many people who want to me murdered or kidnapped.
