I am making something from a picture and putting it on wood. My question is?

what type of paper should I use so I can glue it to the wood and what product can I put on the picture so it can be put outside? Thanks. Would regular photo paper be ok, and can I coat that paper after.

You can use scrapbook paper on the wood and use a Modge Podge product (for decoupage) to apply the paper. You put the glue on the back of the piece, smooth it onto the wood and apply the Modge Podge over the top. They have several types depending on the sheen you want...go to your local craft store (I love Michaels for this type of stuff) and you should find it by the wood crafting section (also in the glue aisle). Walmart also has it. I believe you can put it over photos as well. I have never used it with photos, but have had great luck with paper and wood.

    Good luck and happy crafting!!
