During the last Ice-age?
Did it affect both Hemispheres, or only the Northern one? How far down did it cover on the European Continent and the American continent?.

Yes it affected both Hemispheres.
In Europe the ice sheet reached down to a line roughly parallel with where London is today.
In North America it reached south of the Great Lakes
