how do you keep your garden safe from pests (like your neighbor's dogs)?

I would like to plant a garden in our backyard, as I will have some seedlings ready for planting soon, but I am afraid that our neighbor's dogs or other animals (birds/squirrels/cats/raccoons/etc) may kill them. what can I use/do that would protect my plants, but not be harmful/dangerous to animals?

Buy a bitter apple spray and spray around your garden. This will deter any dogs from coming near.

call animal administration, an excellent form of municipalities have leash regulations for canines and cats. If the proprietors won't take accountability for their animal then that's time for somebody else to step in. they could choose spoken to by potential of an expert discern, in the event that they do no longer comply to the regulations, they are going to be fined.
