Battlefield Bad Company 2 Grenade Problem?

i've noticed that whenever i get a grenade kill in multiplayer, no points add to my score. Let's say i have 1,000 points and i get a grenade kill that gives me 50 points. I check my score and it's still at 1,000. Has anyone else had this problem?

    for my section, undesirable company2 is such an excellent recreation...and its the hot recreation from battlefield so flow with that and wait till battlefield 3 comes out...which is going to be unreal
