Hi which Operating system are you using???

If you are using Vista or windows 7 you need to turn of UAC (User Account Control).

    1. In vista

Open up Control Panel, and type in “UAC” into the search box. You’ll see a link for “Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off”:

On the next screen you should uncheck the box for “Use User Account Control (UAC)”, and then click on the OK button.

You’ll need to reboot your computer before the changes take effect, but you should be all done with annoying prompts.

    2. Windows 7 makes it much easier to deal with UAC settings, and in fact you don’t have to completely disable UAC if you don’t want to. Just type UAC into the start menu or Control Panel search box.

and in the window that appears you can simply drag the slider up or down, depending on how often you want to be alerted.

If you drag it all the way down to the bottom, you’ll have disabled it entirely.

Do you have a major problem with your computer and you tried possible solutions and failed?

An administrative account should only be for last resort scenario, rescuing your computer and not every day normal usage. Many people abused this when having XP and Microsoft removed many rights in Vista and Windows 7. What you get now is Trusted Installer owning the rights over most of the system files not us.

'Run as administrator' is a run once without the need for full administrative rights. You can't be an administrator because it's disabled by default. .

"Administrator was meant to be an emergency account, used for salvaging the computer when all else failed. Far more often, however, it ended up being used as the standard administrative account, thereby violating several principles of security."
