Are Americans really concerned by this?

That article is propaganda created for the sole purpose of scaring the uneducated. The chinese wouldn't be able to pull that off, I've read the article before and found it to be slightly outrageous.

I don't like US government any more than I like the Chinese one but saying that this is an attempt to brainwash children is perhaps a bit far-fetched. This program is no different from the ones the British Council offers and no.-one says how they brainwash millions of people.

Are you worried about American kids? All the American kids? Have you included the Southamerican kids, too? Because my children are American, too. And I'm feeling bad about it. Nobody gave us anything to teach or learn Chinese or any other languages... So, I'm terrible sorry but I'm not thinking in North American people in this moment, I only think in "my" children because they have a lot of people thinking in them and mine are under extreme pooverty. I think that Chinese is a language very ugly.

My language is Spanish. We have to learn English,but now many people say me that in the future we have to learn Chinese and I say that if my life depend of that,i will prefer to die,because that chinese is so ugly and strange,I prefer English or French but I prefer more English than French or other language.
