Why is Kristen Stewart still in movies?

I've only watched Twilight and New Moon, so I don't really know how good her acting is in other films but I agree she pretty much sucks.

Like you said, she's blank. When I read Twilight the book, Bella was shy but she was also sweet and sensitive. In the movie it's like she's lost.. And as for the sweetness? You can forget about it. It's like she's constantly in a sour mood.

To answer your question, I have no idea why they continue to hire her.

If I were a movie maker she would definitely not be in my movie, especially as a main role.

I agree she IS a bad actress. I am so glad I'm not the only one saying it.

I don't hate her at all, but she's just not a good actress. I think the reason she's still doing it is because the largest part of her following happens to be people too young to see what good and bad acting really is.

And some people think she is pretty. I know that shouldn't matter, but it does, for many people.

And my other reason (last but not least) is this: She's still in movies is because the makers of Twilight wanted someone likeable to play the role. Most viewers are teenagers who feel they can relate to the Bella character and they want to see Bella become a vampire and be with Edward. Or some kids want to see Bella go with Jacob...Either way, the Twilight producers wanted a plain but pretty actress who seems nice and smart and emotional to play the role of Bella. Someone that kids will take a liking to. I think it has worked and the kids don't know or don't care that she can't act.

Melissa Joan Hart is also a horrible actress.

Cause there's lots of people 'fans' (twilight ones) that would go to see Kristen/Taylor/Rob in other movies other than the twilight saga simply because they were in the Twilight saga in the first place.

I do agree with you though i do not like Kristen Stewart's acting she was rubbish in The Runaways and so boring in Twilight.

I guess she got the role in Twilight just because of the blankness & expressionless face of hers, it really suited the character, but I like her in general

whats up with u guys???? shes the one that is getting the money, shes acting, shes famous! shes not a horrible actress. shes actually really good. and you might think she is so blank and boring because maybe thats how she is supposed to act. thats her character!

She's a good actress. Watch her in "Speak'' & "Panic Room"
