No. Only after legally become husband and wife. Because before marriage if a boy and a girl meets, they won't be the only two there. Satan will join them. He will mess up the life. In order not to be messed up in life, and for the protection of the well being of the female especially, Islam prohibits such meeting before marriage.

The reason. though females are found to be faithful in their words, their male counterpart is in most cases found to be not so trustworthy in keeping his words and promises.

A Muslim as any other creature can do anything he wants. The Islamic regulations insist on having sex within a family environment, knowing that sex is a strong motive, they want it to be contained, rather than leaving it for moods. Any public demonstrations of love is banned, since it involves others in sensitive personal life.

If somebody complaint about two people hugging in discrete manner, the complainer is punished. No penalty at all for hugging.

Bottom Line sex should be considered personally and treated with complete seriousness, it is not a hot period of time, it's a strategical mission in human life.

Dating (affair), yet sincere - very important -; between a boy and a girl with the knowledge of their parents and acquaintance, at least two, is THE formal Islamic marriage contract. remember, divorce is not difficult in case things went wrong.

In Islam

before marriage once the unmarried man & unmarried woman never have to talk together.

once they have an engagement with them.

if they like to talk together. there should be one person who will unqualified for marriage like grand mother or grand father. they have to stay with them . then they will talk necessary for life..

there is no chance to hug before the marriage... that is same prostitute. so try to avoid that you will get good reward in the judgement day...
