how many of you guys get pissed off when americans or any other people think that we canadians put eh? or any other slang after every sentence...or when some americans think that we live in igloos! like really that's sad. because i know some canadians who know the american national anthem by heart and most americans don't even know the name of our national anthem now if that's not sad i really don't know what is! anyways i'm not here to rant and rave just wondering if it makes anyone else mad or upset!
it doesn't really piss me off it just kind of irritates me you kind of like a mosquito buzzing in your ear!
don't be disrespectful just kidding man i mean yes i am being hypocritical by thinking that americans think those things and no it's not all americans i've noticed it's the americans that are way way way down south that might or might not think i didn't put this up to start anything i was just curious and yes curiousity killed the cat but hey i still have 8 or 7 lives left!

ehh, not really, and we don't live in igloos (in fact i live in Vancouver and last winter it was really warm, no snow at all) :D

I do say 'eh and type it sometimes. It's my abbreviation for 'hey'. I get upset when people on here (canadians a lot of the time) assume that I am American. THUS why I changed my user name to Canadian Gal. Frackers.

only joking. not all american people are as dumb as you think. you say its annoying that people generalize about canadians, but honestly you are being hypocritical by assuming that all americans think those things.
I say eh sometimes even though i am american and i don't think that canadians say it alot. (And i know O Canada btw. big deal)

well i know that they alwasy assume that we live in an igloo which is dumb because we dont live in an igloo unless we are farther up north and yea they never do know the name of our national anthem which is dumb cause its easy to remember

LOL!! I jokingly told my 5 year old son that's how you speak Canadian. When we went out for breakfast up north, he said to the waitress "I'll have pancakes, eh"
