I think that if they had the courage to tell you the truth and not continue with a lie that you really should feel honoured that they trusted you enough to tell you.

Regardless their still the same same person on the inside and im sure you must have liked them as a person to have become a friend anyways.......a true friend would be able to continue being a friend.

Well I think it's only fair to accept him for who he is...even though you thought he was a girl all along. It shouldn't matter with you if your friend is a he or a she, because if you think about it, your friend is still that person you know (character wise of cores). I'm not saying that it's not shocking, but i'm sure you'll be alright as time passes.
