How do you remove wax from a pair of woolen gloves?

Candle wax melted onto my wife's gloves - a couple of months ago. They've been in the wash since then - my wife didn't notice the wax right away. Now she's been trying to remove it, and is not succeeding. Any suggestions?

Best way would be to place newspaper (or parchment paper) over the glove and use the iron on it. Use a low setting, but high enough to melt the wax. The wax should melt and transfer onto the newspaper. It may require a few tries but should remove all the wax. Good luck :)
