Which Three Should I Buy? Apple iPhone 3GS, Apple iPad, Nintendo DSi XL, PSP GO, PSP 3000, and Xbox 360 Elite?
I am a current PS3 Slim and Nintendo Wii owner. I have never had any of these systems before which is the reason why i want to pick the best three as possible. So, i never had an iPad (because it came out today) Never had an iPhone, Never had a Nintendo DS, Never had any kind of PSP, And Never had any Xbox 360 before ever. So, if everybody who answers this question reads this, i would really appreciate it. Okay, lets start off with the Apple iPad. I want the Apple iPad because it is new and just came out today. Everybody wants an iPad if they do not have one, and it is the most poular thing out there right now, and it has a 10.3 Inch screen display. Now, i really think that the iPad might have some bugs in it since it just came out, but i think that Apple takes care of the viruses and bugs because they are one of the best companies out there. But, i really like the iPhone because this will be my first phone and my parents had approved on it which took a very long time to do. The iPhone has games, music, apps. and a lot more. So, if i buy the iPad and the iPhone i think that it would be very stupid of me to do that because the iPad is the same exact thing as the iPhone accept it has a larger screen. Plus, I already have a PC. Anyway, the Nintendo DSi XL is amazing with a 93% larger screens than the Nintendo DS Lite. But, what stinks is that a few days before the Nintendo DSi XL came out Nintendo announced that they will release the Nintendo 3DS sometime between Now and March 31st 2011. So, it could be released in a year. Plus, i heard that it will replace the whole Nintendo DS series, even the Nintendo DSi XL. My parents are convinced to let me buy the Nintendo DSi XL right now, and then buy teh Nintendo 3DS in a year because i am buying everything from my money. So, should i buy the Nintendo DSi XL and the Nintendo 3DS or just the Nintendo DSi XL because the Nintendo 3DS might not be amazing, or should i wait and buy the Nintendo 3DS? Now, to the PSP Series. I like the PSP 3000 because it has a large 4.3 Inch Screen. But, the problem is that Sony mught discontinue the PSP 3000 because it is getting very old and the lifespan is almost over. So, if any of you say that not all of the UMD Games are on the PlayStation Network for you to download for the PSP GO, well you would be wrong BECAUSE EVERY SINGLE GAME THAT I LIKE ON UMD IS AVAILABLE ON PLAYSTATION NETWORK, so that should not be a big problem, also pricing is not an issue at all. But, here comes the problem, my dad told me that since the Nintendo 3DS is coming out, Sony might come out with a newer version of the PSP to compete with the Nintendo 3DS, because when Nintendo released the Nintendo DSi, they released the PSP GO six months after, to compete. Also, yesterday tehre was some news that sony might come out with a new PSP because some guy said it by accident, and they might announce it at E3 2010. So, i have talked enough about the PSP so lets go to the Xbox 360 Eltie. I am a huge fan of the Halo Series, Fable Series, and a huge fan of Xbox Live. But, you know how the Xbox was released in 2005, and the Elite came out in 2007, well the Elite was the same thing as the Xbox 360 Pro, but they were black and had 120GB. So, litterly the Xbox 360 came out in 2005. But, since it is the oldest console in this generation, i am afraid that Xbox might come out with a new system maybe in 2011, or 2012. Also because they make a price drop every year and now they are $299.99 and if next year they are $199.99 then they are too cheap and the company would have to make a new system. But, do they have to make a price drop? Or can they just keep it at $299.99 and then when Project Natal make it $399.99, so will they keep it expensive or decrease the price and come out with a new Xbox. Because in 2004 i got a PlayStation 2 Slim and i thought that it was too old, but then people said that it wasn't then two years later the PS3 came out and i was sony dissapointed that i wasn't able to get the PS3 because i wasted my money on the PS2 and my parents didn't let me, but now i got the PS3 Slim on Black Friday so it was not a huge problem, but will Xbox come out with a new system because i do not want to miss out on the new one. And should i just be happy with what i have and not buy teh Xbox 360 Elite. Anyway, thank you for those who read this all. Ohhh, just remembered that if i buy teh iPad i will buy the 16GB Wi-Fi version which is $499.00. Who ever explains the most and gives the best detail i will give five stars and ten points, and if you write two sentences you are not going to get the best answer. So, thanks everybody and type a lot!!!
P.S: I do not know if the iPad is the same exact thing as the iPhone because then it would not be worth it, also, i already have a PC!
I also heard that a new Xbox is supposed to be announced at E3 2010, and that the Xbox 360 is useless, my friend loves his Xbox 360 so i do not know what to do!!!!!!!!!

Ok one thing I can say is, WOW HOLY CRAP THATS A LONG QUESTION. Haha anyways you basically have answered the question yourself, just a few missing details.
Since you have a PC cancel out the iPad. The iPad is basically just a huge iPod touch which has been integrated with some common computer capabilities. What I'm saying is that it's just the Apple version of the tablet. Looking at all the other consoles/handhelds competing against the iPad I'm thinking that your looking for something with gaming. I wouldn't suggest the iPad for that.(iPad gone)
If it's iPhone vs 360 the 360 wins plus it's extremely similar to the iPad. (iPhone gone)
PSP's are horrible never buy one, plus iphone is better. (PSP gone)
The new xbox isn't going to be out for a long while, Microsoft wants to squeeze every ounce of profit out of the 360 before they release the 720. Which you might expect in about 4 years. And project natal is just an add-on to the 360 is not a whole new console.
I don't even wanna talk about the DSi/DSi XL ughhhhhh it's such a waste of money. 0.3 Mega pixel camera? are you kidding me? My cell has more mega pixels than that crap! Basically all it is; is a DS lite with a crappy camera and internet capabilities. And the only difference between original DSi and the XL is that the XL can't fit in your pocket. (DSi/DSi XL gone)
Ok since you have the PS3 and you don't quite play on it a lot doesn't mean you won't like the 360. The 360's games are a lot different and if your a fan of the Halo Series then you'll probably like it. Also Halo just keeps coming out with better games each year, Halo Reach will be coming soon and I've heard that it's going to be awesome.

Also The 360's Online Network (Xbox Live) is amazing, I don't really want to go into detail but Xbox Live brings so much more than just playing with your friends online. For example recently Microsoft is releasing the Game Room where you have access to thousands of retro arcade games.

I finally conclude that the Xbox 360 wins and hopefully I have enough proof to convince you.
(2nd iPhone)
(3rd iPad)
Hope it helps,
X
P.S. For your phone just get your parents to get you a regular slide phone or something, the iPhone is so expensive you can't even imagine. One time my mom got a $300 phone bill.
And Parker you copied me "hope it helps"
Source(s): I know a lot. =d And I research a lot. I have an iPhone, Xbox 360, I'm currently selling my PSP, My friend has a DSi and and I know a lot about the iPad + DSi XL. And finally if you decide to get a 360 add me to contacts and I'll email a some links to you about how to take care of your Xbox. - Anonymous5 years ago
Ipad is an over sized ipod touch. I wouldn't waste money on it. The iphone 3gs is a great phone, but has a very expensive plan & the 3G is also expensive. If you want to keep shelling out money go for it. The 3ds(if it does not get delayed) WILL have backward compatibility, meaning it will play DS games on it. Therefore buying a dsi XL would not be worth it unless you want it NOW. The PSP go has a smaller screen, and in my opinion, a much worse version of the PSP 3000. The PSP 3000 is a good portable, but the movies on it are meh, the internet is slow, and most of the games are meh. The DS has better ratings than the PSP. The Xbox 360 does not plan on releasing a new console, and has great games. There are a lot of xbox 360 exclusive games the PS3 does not offer (Gears of War, Halo, etc.) The Xbox live is much better than the crappy PS3 network, and has more features. A great console with few flaws. I would get the Xbox 360

I would get a PSP 3000, Xbox 360 and that's about it. I wouldn't get an apple product because if it breaks, then you're out of luck. can't change out the battery if you experience problem after your warranty is over. For the same reason i wouldn't get PSP Go.

hi...
I'd go for PSP 3000 and an IPhone 3Gs. Btw, I have both...
With PSP 3000, you can do a lot, you can play downloaded games, play UMDs, listen to music, view your photos and even surf. My sister has a PSP Go, but I really do not really like the feel of it. I am having problems with the buttons and it slides, so basically it may have problems with the ribbon thing for sliding gadgets. As for the PSN games, sometimes it takes a lot longer to download a game.
IPhone 3Gs is one of the best phones out there... I mean it's really fast and you can put a lot of applications to suit your needs, put your files (photos, music etc...) best of all, it's from Apple... You won't have problems with regard to viruses and stuff.
So that's about it...hope it helps...
