Is it normal for my 20 year old boyfriend to like girly shows?
Okay so this is just a question of curiosity more of decision making because no matter what I'm sticking with him. So I'm 18 and he's going to be 20 in a month. We have really similar taste in music and tv it's just different to me because all past boyfriends all were anti chick-flick watchers and now my boyfriend of a year actually makes it a point to watch certain "girly" shows such as "the secret life of the American teenager" and I started watching my seasons of "gilmore girls" and he likes me to wait so he can also watch them (we live in an apartment together so it's just us and the tv). He also likes some disney shows like "Hannah Montana". So I guess what I'm wondering is do you know any straight guys around his age with his taste? I'm not at all concerned but like I said curious really I feel really lucky to not have those little things to fight about. Thanks for reading

Do you like hannah montana shows and stuff too? because it can be the possibility that he probably likes the show because you like the show and wants to have more in common with you and share the same interest so you can bond more. My boyfriend is 20, and he would sit and watch the secret life with me, and the bad girls club, and even Degrassi, and he will even remind me that its coming on lol. In my opinion its normal i mean its just a television show he probably enjoys the drama, when ever my bf wasn't around and i watched a ep he missed he would say so what i miss? lol and he has way different taste he loves anti hero movies spider man and stuff, but liked to watch what i watch to bond, which like i said can be a possibility of what he is trying to do, and if he just likes it because its his taste Personally i do know alot of straight guys who actually watch the secret life, i think because its all about sex. My boyfriend actually watches wizards of waverly place. and he is straight. hope i helped, and made you feel more comfortable

um...it is kind of weird...but maybe he just has a sensitive side...i mean as long as he doesn't have feminine ways....(hand movements...sayings)...i don't really think he's gay. A lot of guys actually like to watch shows like that...they just don't out of fear of what their gf would say...
