A few basic Physics (properties of matter) questions help, PLEASE?

    2) bronze = copper + tin is correct.

    3) Dehydration

    4) "vapor", the US spelling of the singular word. This is why we say "methane gas", but "water vapor". If a substance is in a seemingly gaseous phase, but isn't above its critical point in temperature, it is a vapor. If it is above its critical point, it is a gas. The ideal gas law applies best to gasses, and not quite as well to vapors. These really are the same phase of matter, just two general condition region names.

    5) the maximum temperature to which you can heat an object placed in the flame of a bunsen burner.

    8) the answer is more likely "iron". Lead and gold are both extremely malleable both at room temperature. Iron in its nearly elemental versions can be quite brittle (not as much as glass or ceramics though). When alloyed with carbon, you get steel, which is a more ductile version of iron.

    9) don't know this one, but I doubt "hydrogynous" is the answer. First, it is spelled wrong, second, all it seems to mean is that is contains the element hydrogen.
