Anyone know if you can tailgate in the lot on brush across the street from 36th dist court?

On opening day. If yes, what are there rules?

    Yes, no open booze on any city street.

    If you are going ... make sure you take a look at the operator's license. Many folks come into town for sporting events and are lured into vancant lots by men waving red flags. Some times these are just open lots and once it is full the guy with the flag splits and then the cops show up, ticket everyone's cars and tow them away.

    I'm sure you have better uses for $900, than cough it over to the tow truck guy.

    My advice is to park and go to a bar. Easier all the way around.

    This really isn't an answer to your question, but: A few years ago, I was in Detroit for the Auto Show, and I was looking for a parking sspace. A guy directed me into an alley and charged me $20.00. Afterward, I got out and saw a $40.00 parking ticket on my car!

    The point is, be careful where you park. Hey, maybe in a few years, if they ever get the Woodward Avenye light rail system built, you won't have to worry about such things any more.
