Yahoo messenger contacts?
On an almost daily basis, I receive a message from the same individual asking to be added to my Yahoo Messenger contacts. Her ID appears to be straightforward, and there's a full name given on the requesting account, however, it is not anyone I recognize. It doesn't appear to be spam, either. However, on multiple occasions, when I have received the message requesting to add me to their contacts, I have sent a message asking if I knew the person making the request, and I have gotten no responses. It doesn't look like spam - what do others think? Also, I don't understand why someone would request to add me to their contacts list, but not respond when sent a message back from me.

Just mark the request as spam next time it comes.
That will stop it.
Never add anyone you don't know.

This happened to me but not as often. I asked them to identify themselves and they did not respond, just as they did to you, so I put them on block. In saying no to a request there is an option to not see you on line and I believe Block them . If this does not work then accept them,Open to sent messeage then delete them. Using send message you can then block them.
