Do you like the name Svetiaz? I believe it's Russian...?
It's a little girl's name. Feedback is welcome.

If you really like the name Svetiaz, and are set on naming a child that: think for a second. Svetiaz may not be the best choice of a name because of how unusual it is. I'm all for unusual names, but you need to pick something recognizable and not totally made up-sounding. I understand it's not made up, but you know what I mean. Instead of Svetiaz, go for Svetlana. Svetlana is also Russian, and it's more well-known. For short, you can call her Sveta, Betty, or Lana.

Uhm, I kind of think it's a little unusual. Unless your family is Russian and/or she's being named after a beloved family member, I'd forgo a name no one will ever know how to pronounce for something more practical.

If you are in America, don't name your kid anything that will be hard for them to lear to spell and pronounce. And more important, don't name your kid something that people will mispronounce all the time, it will just annoy your kid growing up. Don't do it. Find an interesting name, but don't make it hard to pronounce for most people. You don't want your kid being made fun of as a child, children are cruel and will make your kid hate their name, and in turn your kid will resent you for giving them a messed up name.
