vids from youtube =not illegal, as,long as you don't distribute them (for profit etc)

I've seen links on YouTube to Amazon MP3 and iTunes, then it's legal, and usually cost 99 cents. Personally I recommend Amazon MP3. If it's a link to a site like Megaupload or Rapidshare, there is a good chance that the song is copyrighted and downloading it would be illegal (see Copyright Infringement). Unless of course if it says it's uncopyrighted and/or a legal download.
