how to add telus pay & talk to cell?
Long story short. I am without a phone and have a toddler so need one. My friend lent me her telus cellphone (no chip). It is a basic samsung telus flip phone. Since I only want something temporary I thought getting a telus pay & talk would be good.
Anyhow. I bought $25 worth and got this big paper (invoice) and little transaction record in return. I can't figure out how to add it to my phone. There are several numbers on the invoice.
The lady at the telus booth was 100% unhelpful and just expected me to figure it out alone.
So I know I go to telusmobility.com but the what?
Thank you very much
also how do I find out what the rates are? how much to text. how much per minute. if you talk 10 seconds does it charge full minute. are you charged to recieve calls. is there free texting and calling at somepoint (evenings, weekends?)
THANK YOU

I'll try to keep this fairly simple. If your friends phone is already active as a Pay&Talk then you can add credits to it by dialing #123 and follow the prompts. There is a number near the bottom of your 'Top up' receipt that you will have to input when asked.
If her phone is not active on any Telus account then you will have to create an account for yourself by going here...

Fill in the required information. During the process it will want you to input that number from your receipt and at the end it will give you instructions to program your phone into the system. Sounds difficult but it's really pretty easy to follow. Doing this online will deduct $10 from your $25 and is the cheapest way to do it.
Rates can be found here...
http://www.telusmobility.com/en/ON/prepaid/rates.s...
Without purchasing specific 'add-ons' you will pay for every call and every text that is sent or received. Voice calls are rounded up to the next minute. Nothing is ever free without the add-ons.

yeah. you can. there are special add ons for prepaid plans. so just go to the store or call Telus and tell them you want an add on.
