Is this good enough reason to impeach Obama? How is it not a High Crime?

Today, both The New York Times and The Washington Post confirm that the Obama White House has now expressly authorized the CIA to kill al-Alwaki no matter where he is found, no matter his distance from a battlefield. No trial just assassination...................

Is this the new American way? How can government just decide to kill someone especially and American citizen? That has to be a High Crime and an impeachable offense.

Even if you dont think so, isnt this setting dangerous precedent for possible assassinations against other American citizens?

Much as I dislike Obama politically, this does not rise to the level of "High crimes and misdemeanors". In fact, I support his decision and hope they kill the bum very quickly.

Never thought I'd agree with anything Obama did, but this seems to be the exception, as I cannot tolerate terrorists, especially ones from the US. Now, all he needs to do is declare open season on Hanoi Jane Fonda and I will run right out, buy a rifle and go hunting.

Extending executive privilege beyond the scope of the existing constitutional law is an impeachable offense. Willfully lying to the American public repeatedly about healthcare reform (quite possible the lowest thing imaginable) is an impeachable offense. Choosing to not enforce existing immigration laws for political gain is an impeachable offense. If you look at the sum total of all the other scandals that occurred during his administration, it's pretty easy to come up with reasons to impeach, but that would just incite further rioting. You see, we live in an "ends justify the means" society where right and wrong mean little compared to political correctness. If President Obama was white and his agenda different, there would be relentless pressure from the media to impeach. But the mainstream media fully endorses the Obama agenda, so little if anything negative is reported regarding this administration. Honestly, if Jonathan Gruber had been working for the Republican Party and a Republican President lied as blatantly to the American people about something as deeply personal as healthcare, how long do you think he would be in office?

As a general principle, international law permits the use of lethal force against individuals and groups that pose an imminent threat to a country, and officials said that was the standard used in adding names to the list of targets. In addition, Congress approved the use of military force against Al Qaeda after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. People on the target list are considered to be military enemies of the United States and therefore not subject to the ban on political assassination first approved by President Gerald R. Ford.

That's from your source. I think it pretty much answers your question.

And yes I approve of it.

No, I don't think so. I don't care for Obama, but this isn't a crime. He is acting to defend our country.

As long as he doesn't kill Americans without due process, I'm okay with it.

When drastic steps have to be taken, President Obama will not hesitate to lead. Would you rather have al-alwaki kill more Americans? Allowing him to live would be a crime.

I'm a Conservative giving Obama a Hi-Five on this one. The man is showing some promise!

No, that is within the prerogative of the Executive branch, and I support covert capture or assassination of ANY radical Islamic leader...

HOWEVER, when barry's naive, ignorant, amateur, misguided polices on the "war on man caused disasters" gets Americans killed, he will be impeached and convicted.

Where were you at when bush killed thousands of american soldiers in iraq. Where were you when him and his adminstration were committing torture waterboarding to all terrorist. Another simple minded Republican. So if he was arrested and put in prison with the other terrorists and he told them to plot an attack against us you republicans would want to assassinate him because he is plotting to attack us

Amazing. Cons suddenly become concerned about terrorist rights when Obama announces a tough measure.

    Trully astonishing.

This is just one of many reasons to impeach this bum! He took to protect and defend the constitution for the united states of America and hasn't even honored his oath and you can see what an oath means to him.
