What's the difference between a Demo CD and an EP CD?

Because I want to record my songs (just like 4 or 5) and I don't know if it would be considered an EP or a demo because I don't know the difference.

EP refers to length (and unless they're unusually long or unusually short, four or five songs is EP length), while a demo refers to the release, in that a demo isn't produced to be released, but rather to use as a reference for producers, record labels and the like.

EP= Early production (a demo who usually has around 5-6 tunes) LP= Late production (an actual album)
