They'll do fine. It'll take them awhile to adapt to it, but it's going to take everyone time to adapt to it.
Yes, it will most definitely bring a new home field advantage. They don't have the roof anymore to hold sound in, the don't have the roof for balls to get lost in, they don't have the speakers hanging from the ceiling, it won't be 70 degrees all year round.

Every park brings a homefield advantage. Teams do better when people are cheering for them, and they get to know their home parks better than anyone else.
I think the Twins will be very good this year overall. And it stands to reason that they'll have a better home record than away record.
My guess is they'll win about 50 to 55 games at home.

Well, Minnesota is now 5-2 coming off the road trip, so we're off to a good start. I think it's going to carry over to the new ballpark and it should be a fun year for us Twins fans.

This has been a fashion between all new parks. Even new Yankee Stadium, i've got faith, has fewer seats than the old one. There are a pair motives for this. communities now matter heavily on season cost ticket and company cost ticket sales. each and every style new luxurious skybox offered to a company shopper will in all likelihood generate extra income than 50 to one hundred seats. additionally, fewer seats ability much less furnish for the period of the same old season (as quickly as you eliminate season cost ticket sales). much less furnish ability that they could cost greater fees even and not using an significant improve in call for. finally, there is the psychological income for the gang and followers of not having to be certain 20,000 empty seats night after night. I undergo in recommendations seeing a pair video games interior the old "cookie cutter" stadiums like Atlanta Fulton County and the Vet in Philly. even while the communities have been doing properly and the followers have been into the interest, the crowds in no way regarded as energetic as they did in smaller parks like Wrigley. A crowd of 30,000 in a 40,000 seat stadium seems plenty louder and lots greater than 30,000 in a 60,000 seat soccer stadium.
