Liverpool might not even get a Europa League spot?

England get three places in the Europa League. One for the team that finishes 5th, one for the team that wins the FA Cup, and one for the team that wins the Carling Cup. If, in the FA Cup, the team that wins it already had a European spot, the runner up gets it, and if they already have a European spot, the team that finishes in 6th gets the spot. Last season, both winners of the FA Cup and Carling Cup, Chelsea and Man Utd, and the FA cup runners-up, Everton, got Europe, so 6th and 7th got European spots. This season, as the Carling Cup winner had Europe, 6th will get a Europa League spot, but, as Portsmouth will either win or be runners-up in the Europa League, they, unless they have too much debt, etc, will get a Europa League spot. If they do, and Aston Villa finish above us, and we finish in 7th, we will not get a Europa League spot unless we win it.

Liverpool will win the Europa league we simply have to as this season has been well below us :( , i cannot bear to think about no european football at all next season , we simply will just have to concentrate on winning the Europa League as 4th is well beyond us now .

well man utd won the carling cup and they will be in champions league and pompey and chelsea are in the fa cup final neither of which will taking other spots.

anyway liverpool are rubbish so they will be finishing 6th anyway.
it will be city, spurs, pool, villa or everton
