The forecast isn't too pretty... I'm in northern Iowa (7 miles south of the Minn border) and it's thunderstorming. I'm also watching countdown to Target Field, and The sky doesn't look too pretty.

**Correction: It's starting to look nicer now :) **

Anywho, Carl Pavano has been a work horse for the Twins and I think he'll do quite well. Jon Lester is also a great pitcher.

I do think the Twins will win though. They're on fire, and the fire will continue at home. Even the rain can't put it out!

Final score - it'll be a one run game around 3-2 or 4-3

Yes. The Twins will open Target Field with a huge win today (unless the weather delays the game, in which case they'll crush the Red Sox tomorrow).

BQ: I'd like to say Mauer hits the first home run, but against the lefty Lester, I think Michael Cuddyer has a slightly better chance. I predict that Cuddyer will drop a 3 run bomb into the left field seats in the first inning of the first game.

If they play today, I think the Twins should win it. I'll say 5-3 They are playing some good baseball and Pavano looked very good in his first outing.
