Online Auto Financing Post Bankruptcy?

We filed bankruptcy chapter 7 but kept our truck and the loan with it. The payment is almost $500 a month and is financed at 12.75% and with the gas milage being only 10mpg we can not afford it.

We need a lower payment & a more fuel efficient & reliable vehicle. Our truck is worth about $25000 & we owe $18000 & have a $500-$1000 to put down on top of that.

Sorry for the long question but I want to get approved or pre-approved before wasting time sitting around a dealership all day.

Does anyone know of a Reputable online auto lender I could use?

I have already applied twice and have heard nothing back & these were online auto loans bad credit, & bankruptcy.

Also would a Co-Signer help?? Thanks to all of you that read this long question & any infor or help you can give would be SOOOO Appreciated..

Update:

Thanks for all your help.. I tried Drivetime.com but I am in Illinois and they had nothing in Illinois..

We are having trouble selling our vehicle since it is the size of a suburban and a gas hog..

best to sell the current vehicle, add in as much additional cash as you have available, then go pay cash for something.

It depends on how long it has been since you filed the bankruptcy. If it was a couple of months ago, I doubt anyone is going to be interested. These people advertise on the TV all the time so you could give them a try. I think you have to purchase the vehicle from one of their places though.

Try Mr Adams, they are based here in the united states though sometimes we don't get replies from those online sites because they are bunch of entries and even when we get replies they are sometimes electronically done and we don't get pass some stages, i have made use of Mr Adams before though the interest rate was about 20 percent but it was better since the approval was quick, so you know your faith soon, you can contact them via there direct email because i emailed them through it: adamxpress@live.com
