Would Hamilton, Adams, Madison, Jefferson, Jay, Franklin, Washington, Sherman, etc. be at these Tea Parties?

I will be on hallowed ground in PHiladeplhia for these Tea Parties.

Would the aforementioned Founders partake if they were alive?

I doubt it. The Tea Parties have very little to do with 'the Founding'. It's a completely different country, a completely different world, from the one they lived in. Additionally, the founding fathers all had very different views on many subjects. The antagonism between Adams and Jefferson was almost legendary. Therefore, it is impossible to claim with any real authority that any of the fathers would have approved of or disapproved of the Tea Party movement.

I'll be willing to bet that Franklin would have made fun of it either way though. He was cool like that.

They wanted the people to make it for them self and not have the government do it all for the people.

They men and women want the government to get out of their lives in a way that was like back when the founding fathers started this country.

That being follow what the U.S. Constitution says and not what the government is doing now.

They would be front and center of this protest.

Unlike what some say that they really wanted the government to be the all and all and have it grow to a very large one they believed that the government should be small and not have the people fear the government!

Even going back to JFK when he said "Ask not what your country can do for you but ask what you can do for your country." He as well would be there protesting what is happening now!

they may be in marvel at what has grow to be of this as quickly as super usa. they might shake men contained in the line with the aid of the lapels of their jackets asking them how they might permit this take place. Franklin might say.. We gave you a Republic and you grew to become it right into a Democracy, the place fifty one% of the persons can scouse borrow from the different 40 9% Jefferson might say... i grew to become into suited as quickly as I pronounced that a obligatory economic organization would be the smash of this usa. Washington might cry... that may no longer what my men died for. The question of slavery continually amuses me. it rather is as though it did no longer exist formerly the colonies have been based, nor did it exist after it grew to become into abolished in this usa. no longer the proudest 2d for this usa, and that i've got confidence Jefferson set his slaves loose upon his dying. right here's a query for all people who call for reparations and to undergo in recommendations those men purely as slave vendors. that's worse? to purchase a slave to or sell a slave. because of the fact no count number if it rather is the two as undesirable, because it rather is. Then why are not we going to the seashores of Africa and tracing down the families of the tribes that bought the slaves to the white guy contained in the super boats. shouldn't you apart from mght choose for reparations from them? after all they weren't given for loose, nor did they volunteer to get into those boats. The sword of hypocrisy cuts the two strategies.

  • lol -- they didn't care nearly as much about the constitution as you pretend -- it was a debate in the Washington administration where it should be loosely interpreted or fully interpreted and not until Jefferson was it even considered law -- It was a political document and Jefferson wanted it to stay that way and Washington wanted it loosely interpreted

They threw the Boston Tea Party because they didn't like the taxes.

Most Americans were against the bailouts, some 90%, TEA party protests against that, you can bet that all those names would be there.

A very difficult question. One thing for sure, none of the esteemed men you listed would have voted for Obama, McCain, Bush, Kerry, Gore, or Clinton. There is one member of the House they would have supported, can you name him or her?

They may make an appearance to fix all of the terrible spelling on the posters, but other than that...no.
