Why do you have to confirm your choice when deleting Yahoo spam mail but not the inbox mail?

When you delete messages from your inbox it does so without question, but if you remove any messages from the spam folder, you have to confirm their deletion. Why is this?

because deleting from the inbox sends to the trash folder.

If you make a mistake deleting the wrong email you can retreve it from the trash folder.

Spam folder has no back up folder so on delete it is litteraly gone forever, so yahoo has the confirm feature for the user to just double check.

because when you delete from your inbox they immediatly go into the trash folder for if you wanted to give them another look at a later date or something or to keep them separate.

if you delete from the spam folder they are gone permanently.

    Hope this helps :)
