Do you ever read the writing on those hysterical markers on the side of the road?

Actually they are pretty funny. There's one by my house that says "Exit - 1/2 mile." Well I've measured it and the sign is actually 0.48 miles from the exit. Those highway engineers were just being silly. What will they do next?

There's a new store down the road from my place. It has a big lit up sign that says 'Now Open', so I thought I'd see what they had, but they were closed. That struck me funny for some reason.

When driving thru Oklahoma or Texas or some equally depressing shithole I saw a sign that warned against picking up hitchhikers as they very well could be prison escapees.

We've got ones that say whether a particular exit has gas or lodging. The real hijinx don't start until you check in.
