Anxiety Disorder, Panic Attacks?
I feel like I have some type of anxiety disorder, I have alot of panic attacks, trouble breathing at these times, my heart hurts and pounds either hard or fast, I have alot of phobias, including being alone, heights, deep water (ocean), dying, getting sick, ect. I had one last night, I didn't see it coming, It just came hard around 12:30am, what ended up happening was I was going through this in my room until about 4am just in severe discomfort with everything and life and I was scared, It just hits me all the time, I want some help, but everything seems to cost money nowadays, which I really don't have, and I think I may need a professional to speak with, or just somebody in general.
Thoughts?

Looks like you are a Christian from your avatar title, so the best thing is to pray --- talk to God about it. Have your church's prayer group pray for you too. God is in control, so you shouldn't be afraid of anything. The Bible say, "Perfect love casts out fear." (First John 4:18). Be sure to yield to God and be humble and loving. Reading the Bible daily is important too. Christianity is about faith for sure, a trust, but with love too. This takes a maturity. This isn't just a head thing, a knowing, but also a heart thing -- a willingness to love and commit to God eternally. The most important factors I'm learning are faith, love, peace, hope, friendliness, caring, giving. and meekness, plus obedience. God is our Creator, all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal, holy, love. Mostly, God is love and He wants us to be love too and become like Jesus Christ, which takes obedience and faith that He can help us succeed to do His will. Our will needs to be yielded to His will. We need to accept Jesus into our life as our Lord and Savior forever to receive God's blessing and forgiveness plus go to heaven. Having Jesus in your life means changing your life to accept His leadership -- thus He is your Lord, and not just your Savior. He wants to change us to be more like Him. The more we love God, the more we can commit and be obedient. Spiritual maturity comes as we realize that life isn't all about us. Most important is loving and helping God and others. I'm Lutheran and I like the Baptist churches too. Ways to stay on the project are going to church, reading the Bible daily, and daily prayer as needed. Some churches do a weekly Bible study group and these can be a good way to get committed to read the Bible often and keep going. Let God guide you. God bless.

I have generalized anxiety disorder and panic attacks as well. There are several things I could suggest to you to help you out.
Right off the bat though, you do need to go see a specialist doctor, a psychiatrist. Seeing a family doctor isn't always as good, mostly because they don't specialize in the mind and they may try to over-medicate you. A psychiatrist will most likely prescribe you two meds: A long term med (something like 50mg Zoloft) that you will take every day and a short term/helper med (something like 5-10mg Xanax) that you take when you feel the drumroll of a panic attack coming on. I had seen a family doctor about my anxiety and panic attacks years ago and he prescribed Zoloft to me. I was still having panic attacks, and instead of giving me a helper med (xanax) he kept upping my dosage of Zoloft until I was taking 200mg a day - not cool. I was a zombie.
Another thing you can do after you see the doctor is join a few support groups. I found a forum online. There are several forums, but this one has the largest user base and most activity. I posted the link below.
I would also suggest evaluating your eating and exercising habits. We often overlook these, but our diet and exercise plays a big role in our anxiety levels. The intestines actually carry a lot of our hormones, so the saying "you are what you eat" is correct in the fact that if you eat a lot of greasy fast food over a period of time you're bound to have a chemical/hormone imbalance. I switched to a low carb all fish and veggies diet. It didn't cure me, but over time it has helped.
And lastly, I suggest confiding in someone. Thoughts that run through your head that seem totally logical while they are in your head can amplify anxiety and panic attacks. So say those thoughts out loud to someone, see how silly they sound, and laugh together over it. I guess you could do this alone, too. But laughter always feels more complete when you're laughing with someone else, you know? The best example of this would be me this past Sunday: I was having pain in the back of my head, so I casually said to my boyfriend, "I have a pain in the back of my head, I totally have a brain tumor." And he said in his best Arnold voice-over, "It's not a tumor." We laughed, I felt better and I avoided a panic attack. :)
I hope this helps!

Hello...I will give you a tip: NEVER BE AFRAID OF A PANIC ATTACK. If you are afraid, you will get another one. But if you are not afraid, the panic attack will last some time and they go away. I took prozac combined with rivotril (however that was years ago, I think now there are more modern meds). Also join yoga (you`ll learn breathing techniques) and acupuncture. (I was a panic attack sufferer) and after a year I was cured. Good luck

Try melatonin, and over the counter vitamin, to induce sleep, and chamomile tea or look into teas like St. John;s Wort that calm, try some meditation. Look into books that will inspire you. Be it religious or read about panic books. Try Gandhi, the Koran, the Bible, or even historical figures, many of whom were introverted types, but suffered from anxieties but focused themselves in other ways.
Talk to a friend, or even someone you know in another social setting.
There are free clinics in most places where you can call their hot lines just to talk
Good luck. Really. Life can be very beautiful.

It does sound like you need some professional help. There are places that are free or very low cost.
www.nami.org ( National Alliance for the Mentally ill ) has a lot of information on their website.
Call the Mental Health Association, their number is in the phone book. I went to one of their clinics for a year, it cost me 35 dollars and I was able to make payments on that.
You can also call 211 this is a national helpline it works like 411, you call and tell them what you need, you need to see someone for mental health treatment and need free or low cost help. They will give you some numbers of places that are close to you.
Be good to yourself and get some help for this as soon as you can, this is not something that goes away on it's own and it tends to get worse without treatment.

There is most likely a source of free or very low cost help in your area. Go to the site nami.org which is the site for the National Alliance on Mental Illness. On their site you can find the phone number for your local chapter. They offer support, information and if there is free or low cost help in your are they are the ones who will know.

I am in the exact same situation as you, so i understand what you are going through. I feel agitated and paranoid all the time, and i also have constant thoughts of suicide and facing my own death. I have only just started seeing a psychiatrist, and perhaps you should start seeing one as well.
