Value of 18 year old Honda Prelude?
My girl friend has a Honda Prelude which she bought new and has kept ever since. It is immaculate and kept in a garage overnight. It has only done 41,000 miles. Recently she put new tyres on it at my suggestion because it still had the original tyres and when I drive it I like to give it the wellie and the old tyres had nasty cracks in them though the tread was all right. Anyrate what I am asking is this. There was a telephone number on the TV the other night and it said if you wanted to know the value of your car you text'd this number with your registration number and it would give you the answer. We did it-the answer? No value-too old-but the car is actually only just about run in and goes like the wind without a mark on it.
Thank you for the information-we have no intention of selling it because as you mentioned its costing nothing, it goes like a rocket-had it up to well over 120 recently and it looks like a new car. It was just that we were surpised when they gave the value as nothing.

Due to age and low miles there will be no standard price for it - it is worth what someone will pay for it.
There may be a Honda or Prelude owners club on the net that may be searchable that will be able to give a good idea of the price or may even have interested buyers

Has no monetary value really - you might get £600-£700 for it if advertised as a classic car. On the other hand, its cheap motoring, there is no loan outstanding, its not costing a penny in depreciation. You were right to change the tyres, they should be changed every 5 or 6 years regardless of wear and you were lucky not to have a tyre failure, particularly if you drive quickly.

i does no longer. 5,seven hundred or 6,000 is too much for a 'ninety 9 with 121,000 miles, besides the actual undeniable fact that that is jap engineering. if youin case you do no longer could have a prelude, go onto craigslist or vehicle dealer. you will see that functional 2000 to 2004 type Hondas or Mazdas for 3,500 to 5,000 funds. It worked for me.
