What's wrong with andy murray?

He's such a good player and he got dumped out in the 2nd round of the monte-carlo masters?? I get that he's that good on clay but how do you explain his performances at indian wells and miami?

Update:

Sorry, i meant to say that murray's not very good on clay

Ever since he lost in the Australian Open final against Federer when he "almost" started to comeback in that match, he has been having mental issues. He's a defensive player naturally who tend to struggle against aggressive tennis players especially when he's in a slump like he is right now. He has the game to win slams, but right now he is slipping down the rankings. Maybe he should take a break and come back in the grass court season when by then he should have recovered mentally. Until he's not himself, he will continue to do poorly.

certainly, an excellent sort of persons do like him. I actually have a query up right here approximately no count number if Murray can ever win a substantial, and you're able to see all the Murray followers pouring out to assist their boy. Me, i do no longer look after Murray's sort of play, yet that may no longer the comparable as asserting i do in comparison to him. He seems a first rate adequate guy, even nevertheless one element i do in comparison to is that he each so often celebrates the opponent's mistake. stop that and he's okay. sounds like numerous participant has detractors. those are the suited tennis gamers contained in the worldwide we are conversing approximately. perchance we could continually in basic terms rejoice with the fits and pull for our customary without trashing the different participant.

I've got to tell you Murray was only a good player last year... Previous year he was pretty much invisible... He still has a lot to learn, he struggles the same way as Nadal... They rely way too much on fitness and over powering the oponnent making it easy to just crash after a mere set back... in contrast to someone like Say Feder and Nikolay Davydenko who find it a bit easier to win small matches and often avoid physically demanding matches with just the sheer use of Technique that require far less effort... ( federer especially)

What's wrong with Murray you say? I didn't get to watch those matches the you mentioned but i would have to say poor consistency and failure to capitalyze on drastic points such as a break or even holding serve... Laster year's Australian Open and U.S open (his favoured surfaces) he lost lower Ranked Players on Tournaments he was One of or The Most Favoured to Win...

Hasn't been the same since losing the final in Melbourne, Australia in January. On Monday he will fall back to number 5 in the world.

I don't like him at all but the best thing he can do is take a break to emotionally/mentally recover and then come back for the grass season.

    just having mental issues

the guy's proven that he has the game to be a number one and he definitely spends more time on the court practicing than most other players on tour

but because he's a defensive player naturally he tends to start playing badly when he's having trouble against more aggressive players

probably he's sick of training and tennis after his lousy performancse and has to find that drive again

ever since he lost to fed at the Aussie open final , hes been out of it mentally, hes even said him self that he feels like hes fallen out of love with tennis and isn't happy on court.

he just needs to get his head back in the game.
