question for irish people :)?

Bebo was over taken in popularity by both Facebook & Twitter. When you sign up with Bebo the terms of condition contract that you must click to accept in order to set up a page states that any information you load up (photos, names, details, etc) becomes the sole intellectual property of that website. In other words, what ever you put up on your page automatically becomes their property and they can do with it as they see fit (the same with Facebook). Either pass on (or sell) the information to marketing companies or others who might end up sending you emails with deals, etc or use any photos you uploaded for promotions or advertising.

They recommend that you remove any personal information that might be of use to others beforehand so that they can't use it.

Bebo is closing down and it will probably be sold to another company, who will than have access to all your details, your info., your pictures, and they can do what they want with them. So they are advising everybody to close their account to safeguarding themselves. I didnt think anyone in ireland still used Bebo?

Save all your pictures from bebo to a folder on your desktop that way you won't lose the pictures when and most likely they shut it down.Also you have your pictures then you can use any other site and upload again if you wish.

It seems that bebo may be in financial difficulties and may have to close down.

It would probably be better then to delete stuff as you wouldn't want it hanging around in cyberspace.

bebo is shutting down,if you dont delete your personal stuff it will probably be used or it will hang around the internet.so it would be best if you deleted your pics and stuff :)
