What is the difference between Radiologic Technology and Radiology Technician?

Well today, my friend and I were discussing about the difference and didn't really get the answer. I was wondering if you guys (people who know the definition and difference between them) could help me out. Because, it might help me on getting my career set. And also, which one is closer to being a radiologist?

A technician does not have as much training and education as a technologist. Neither one is anywhere near a radiologist.

It's the same thing. It's actually Radiologic Technologist though, not technician.
