How to mute certain clips on Windows Movie Maker Vista ?

I Select a video on movie maker and then go to clip/then audio but it won't let me select anything. Is there another way I can mute certain videos on Movie Maker with some other videos still having sound ?

    u can do it commonly all of the dvd format would be of .vob so first convert the video movie maker help in elementary terms this codecs avi wma wmv asf after that use cutter to make the video as clips and use it in movie maker... u can do it try one extra time...
