Have you ever won an appeal on Yahoo Answers?

I had that happen before. Here are a couple tips:

- Prove your accusation wrong by comparing to one or two of the right things to do.

Ex: If you posted a website that looked like you're soliciting, but it contains helpful and on topic information, look for something about it in the Community Guidelines to QUOTE.

- DO NOT ask why you were reported. It will bring your chances to zero.

YUP! Had my latest one overturned just this morning -- and received my email of apology and points returned. I win about 90% of the ones I bother to appeal, so far.

I even know of people that have won SUSPENSION appeals -- including the current #1 person on the global leaderboard.

Yes!!! and most of my questions and answers get reinstated. This is probably the worst possible Area.. I get many questions and answers removed for violations than any other section... Why Yahoo allows this continual harassing of me, I have know Idea! I guess certain T/C's like to pat themselves on the back And saying Job well done.

I had a question deleted unfairly, and I deleted my mail! If I had known, I'd have tried to appeal it instead! Any other place I can search for appealing it without the mail of notice violation?

I have won an appeal many times & the question was re-instated. Someone was bored & decided to report my answer. I appealed it by explaining the contents of my question & that it only required a yes or no answer. I won & so have many others.

I've won an appeal. I got an e-mail that said that one of my answers had violated the question-answer format, but I appealed it and they reposted my answer and gave me the points back.

most of my violations occured on the political forum an no i never had one overturned. i think sometimes the person just misinterpreted what i was saying. few times it was jusitfied. i dont appeal anymore but i think i read one guy that said he had one overturned
