If your not supposed to plant tulip bulbs till September, What happens if you plant them now?

    They will be ok, they will just bloom earlier than usual

    Bulbs can be planted in the spring or fall. Next time you go to your local home improvement center look at the instructions on the package.If you plant them now they will have a longer time to establish themselves, just don't do it in a soggy wet area where they will rot.
