it surely relies upon on which way you pass. On my maximum recent trip to Chicago (instead to making use of by way of St. Louis), I drove I-35 north to Cameron, MO. Then US 36 to Hannibal, MO and that i-72 to Springfield, IL, then I-fifty 5 to Chicago. The midway factor in this path is approximately Pittsfield, IL. you additionally can force I-35 northto Des Moines, then east on I-80. The midway factor this way is approximately Iowa city, Iowa.

I agree, The Dells would be about right.
