Please help me with my assignment. It's due today and I'm LOST.?

PLEASE help me. I don't want RUDE people saying do your own homework. Trust me, if I new I wouldn't be wasting time asking the questions and waiting for answers on here. However, this isn't the case. I've been really busy with a new job as a waitress. I've been getting off really late, and was unable to finish my work, so PLEASE HEL.

2) If this is one strand of DNA: ATTGCGTCAATTACGCTA, what would its complementary strand be?

3) If this is a strand of DNA: ATTGCGTCAATTACGCTA, what would the mRNA strand look like after transcription? What would the amino acid sequence be of the mRNA?

8) In humans, brown eyes (B) are dominant over blue (b). A brown-eyed man marries a blue-eyed woman and they have children. What are the phenotypes and genotypes of their children? What are the phenotypes of the parents?

9) In some cats the gene for tail length shows incomplete dominance. Cats with long tails are homozygous dominant and cats with no tails are homozygous recessive. Heterozygous cats have short tails. For each of the following construct a punnett square and give phenotypic and genotype ratios of the offspring.

a) a long tail cat and a cat with no tail

b) a long tail cat and a short tail cat

c) a short tail cat and a cat with no tail

d) two short tail cats.

Update:

Thank you for anyone who is honest enough to give a real answer. I still need (don't understand) a punet square.

    2) If this is one strand of DNA: ATTGCGTCAATTACGCTA, what would its complementary strand be?

A and T always pair up, C and G always pair up. You figure out the complimentary strand by simply writing T where you see A, A where you see T, C where you see G and G where you see C.

    3) If this is a strand of DNA: ATTGCGTCAATTACGCTA, what would the mRNA strand look like after transcription? What would the amino acid sequence be of the mRNA?

Same as above, but mRNA contains Uracil (U) pairing up with the A instead of T pairing up with the A

    8) In humans, brown eyes (B) are dominant over blue (b). A brown-eyed man marries a blue-eyed woman and they have children. What are the phenotypes and genotypes of their children? What are the phenotypes of the parents?

Phenotypes of the parents are brown eyes and blue eyes. Their genotypes are (BB or Bb - depends on whehter the man is homozygous or heterozygous) and bb. When figuring out the phenotypes of their kids, remember that Bb will show as brown eyes.

assuming your strand is presented in 5' to 3' direction, the complementary strand would be 5' tagcgtaattgacgcaat 3'

You have school on Saturday? O_o

    2) TAACGCAGTTAATGCGAT

    3) I can't answer that one, we're just starting DNA, but I'll refer to my text book.

    8) Bb, Bb, Bb, Bb, they'll all have brown eyes but can have blue eyed children.

    9) a. Tn, Tn, Tn, Tn

    b. Tt, tt, Tt, tt.

    c. tn, tn, tn, tn

    d. tt, tt, tt, tt

    T: Long

    t: Short
