will the car alarm go off if i use the key only and not the remote?

    No, that would be a poorly designed car now wouldn't it?

    The alarm will only go off if you (or some random person trying to steal your car) tries to force their way into the vehicle.

    No that would be a retarted car. My moms car has the option for remote or key. I use the key everytime and it opens up no problem and no alarms go off.
