How would you feel about Gus being the referees boss?

Would never happen, because then Gould would have to be accountable instead of just slinging turds from sidelines, which is all he is good at.

I'd love it. The refs being told in no uncertain terms when they had a crap game, or even made errors which cost a team the 2 points. He would also come down on the silly niggling little penalties that some refs seem to love, and which slow the momentum of the game down.

Plus he seems to have ideas to improve the quality of the refs coming through the ranks - something nobody else seems to have been able to achieve.

A lot better than I feel about our refs now. The referee's performance during the Eels vs Rabbitohs game was just shocking and Gus's comment about it where spot on. Right now, anyone could do better than the refs.

Gus would kill it. But to be honest he would never be satisfied til he pulled on the pink jersey and blew the whistle himself HAHAHA he is a perfectionist and has a logical understanding of rules.

I would rather see him running the NSWRL to be honest and getting the Blues up to where we should be which is dominating the Maroons.

He is easily THE best Blues ambassador in the country - noone loves the Blues more than him and how can you knock that?? Even if you hate him you have to agree the man loves the NSW

I seriously dont like the bloke, but I think it would be good to see how he would go... I mean he's first to come out and bag the refs and he has all the ideas on how to improve the system, but I reckon he should have a crack - it would be hard to make it worse than it is now...

I know his heart is in the right place but in about 6 weeks time we wouldn't have any refs left

he certainly couldnt do any worse than the crap the nrl refs are dishing up now
