ooh ok yes i have seen before with kittens. this is nothing to serious but i think that your little puppy might have worms. you can just take him to the vet and he will give him meds he will be ok

Hum - this is very odd if it's only swollen on one side. Bloat, which would be my first thought here, usually involves the whole stomach area and it is VERY SERIOUS!! It wouldn't hurt to get him seen asap - and I'd withhold water until you do as if it is bloat, this will make him worse.

So yes, call the emergency vet. Even if it turns out this isn't bloat.

Add - I see this was asked 11 hours ago, so I hope things have now been resolved!

Well, it could be. It depends on if she goes into her first heat cycle quick. I doubt she will have a silent heat on her first one, as most don't but it also could happen. I think you may have a couple of more months of peace, but it going to go away quick. You also do not want her pregs on her first heat cycle. That is way too much on the girl, and being so young, she may not make the best mom. If you are not planning to breed her, get her fixxed around 6 months old. Some people like to wait for the first heat cycle to go through. Also, when she does go into heat and bleeds for weeks, do not leave her unattended outdoors. Another recipe for disaster. Best of luck.

Even tho a dog's been wormed, they need multiple wormings usually. For your own peace of mind at least call the E-vet clinic and they can advise you.

If this is sudden, has never occurred before, and you are worried - contact your emergency clinic. Nobody can diagnose him over the internet.
