When I kept losing my internet connection, it turned out the internet service provider boosted the wireless signal in their communication tower so customers can pick it up 20 miles away. We lived only a mile from the tower so the signal was so strong that we were picking up garbage signals. The ISP tech came over. He unplugged the cable to the wireless router and plugged the cable into his laptop. After about 10 minutes he made changes to the satellite dish outside our house. Now, I rarely get a dropped connection. That is my experience with my setup. I do not know how yours is setup.

for some area, internet connection is weak when we make a call from home phone.

Like me, whenever someone in my family using home phone, the internet connection is lost or weak.

I have asked the provider and they totally don't know.

But from my experience, every time the connection is lost, I unplug the power cord of the modem and leave it for 5-30s then re-plug it it. so wait for the lights on.
