Juice has about the same amount as sugar as pop. Your better buying a juicer and make pure juice. Make sure to look at the nutrition facts before buying anything for your baby =) Best of luck!

You don't need to give her juice for anything but constipation. You will get her loaded up on sugar which will keep her up more at night (and I saw your other question and it's pretty normal-- hang in there-- you're close to getting more sleep sometimes!)
So if juice relieves constipation, it's going to make her poopy if she's not constipated-- so you should definitely consider that.
This is a fine time to have her start playing with a sippy cup with some water in it. You just really want to make sure her liquid calories and general intake are coming from milk (breast or formula) right now and not juice.

i know ther are lots of people who dont like it..but my dr said it was fine so.. but i have been giving my baby half juice half water since she was 5 months old.. she drinks a bottle of it everyday..but its cause she wont take formula or breastmilk from a bottle..i breastfeed and she will only take a booby or either juice/water in a bottle. or sippy cup.. shes 6 1/2 months..at 8 mos i would jump straight to a sippy cup..mines already trying to drink from my "big girl" cup. but yes its fine.

You shouldn't put anything but formula/breast milk in a bottle. If you are wanting to try juice or water this is the perfect time to try to get her drinking out of a sippy cup.

Juice should never be fed by bottle. A couple of ounces of diluted juice can be offered with a cup if you wish, though plain water is preferable.
EDIT: Juice from a juicer ALSO has sugar in it. (The sugar in juice is natural sugar -- fructose.) So I'm not sure why Tess believes that making your own is healthier.

I would offer her juice in a cup at this stage. Juice is mainly sugar water. I would much prefer giving my child regular fruit.
