DS is 2 1/2 and has all the physical signs of being ready but would scream every time we tried to put him on the potty seat. Last night he was all of the sudden asking me to take of pants and diaper and was sitting on the potty playing for 30 minutes or so before bed but didn't actually go. Today he wanted me to put on his big boy underwear but is refusing to sit on the potty again and just pees in them. Confused as to what to do should diapers go back on or just keep putting underwear on while at home? What do you mommies think that have potty trained before?

So tired of just being legally married and not feeling like I'm getting anything out of it. All the DH does is work all day long and on the weekends is either working on a project around the house or going out with his dad buying find off Craigslist. We never even get time to do anything and when we do we still have to have his dad tagging along. I told him how I feel and he pretends to understand but it just stays the same. Only time he's around is when its meal time, bed time or something else he wants. Sick and tired of everything. What's the point of being married when you don't get anything out of it?

Don't even know where to start. I just feel trapped at the house all the time. I stay home with my 2 year old son while DH works and am currently 6 weeks pregnant. I've always felt that DH only likes me or is nice to me when it benefits him. I do all the cleanimg, cooking, shopping, taking care of our son I cook, serve and cleanup dinner, make desserts and serve those too. A few months ago I was told to make sure his three credit cards where paid on time, not asked told, because he was supposedly too busy at work to do them and "I'm home all day". Well anyways tonight he just happened to open one of the statements that came in the mail and it so happens that I must have been one day off on the due date because there was a late fee, so I immediately I got b* out about it. And everytime I say he should pay them because they arnt mine he says he works more than me and does more than me so I should do just this one thing. Are you kidding me I do just as much work as him if not more. I also got told that all the saving money and coupons I do are a waste of time be cause I always pay them late and waste a lot more money than I save. I work hard to save money and I give up things to saveoney and I'm tires of being put down. So broken hearted and tired of just going around and around this way. What to.do? Experiences to share?

I am needing help on wording for kids birthday thank you cards. I don't know exactly what gifts were given by which person and can't seem to think of what to put in the cards. I am already behind in getting them in the mail. What have you mom's done in this case that might help me out? Thanks in advance!

DH and I have been trying to get pregnant this month. Not exactly sure when ovulation was and I still have about a week and a half until my scheduled period so too early to test. Not in a huge rush to test but have been having weird symptoms that I can't seem to connect to possible pregnancy. I have had the nausea feeling that I had with my son but then along with that I have been having bad stomach cramps that are followed with diarea for five days in a row. I can't seem to connect the diarea with possible early signs. So far all I see is an early sign can be constipation which is the exact opposite. Has his happened to you? Do you think it would be connected?

So my husband and my anniversary is on May 21st. We always go on a camping trip to the same place ever year on the weekend of our anniversary 5/21. We were planning on starting to try for our second child starting that weekend but by counting out the length between my periods it seems that one will be starting around the same date. Since the 21st is on a saturday this year and saturday is also the day we are planning to start the weekend trip we were going to try that night and then not after that until I determine if I'm pregnant or not and then if not start trying again so that we can see if I got pregnant on that day. Can you get pregnant right before or during your period? Has anyone had the same situation and end up pregnant.

For those of you who have chickens that roam during the day and return to the coop at night what do you do while you are away on vacation? Do you just leave them locked in the coop until you get back and then continue to let them out during the day and back at night or do you have someone stop by and close the door at night?

Do you follow someone else's blog on for any of these things or have your own blog. I'm looking at searching other blog on this and possibly doing one of my own. If anyone has a blog or other source and doesn't mind sharing could you please share with me? Thanks!

I know most doctors and medical articles say that running a fever is not a result of teething but I have see some mothers/parents who disagree and say that their child ran a fever when they were teething either off and on or every round of teething. Has any other mother/parent had their kid run a fever between 99.9 and 101.8 when they were teething? My son had a 101.8 temperature last night and 99.9 this morning. No symptom of a cold at all but he has been chewing on his hands lately and refusing to eat as much as he usually does. Teething?

Also does anyone know what is considered to be a high enough fever to be seen by the doctor or urgent care/ER?

So when I was pregnant with my son I had to go to a different doctors office because I didn't have insurance and this office had a payment plan for prenatal and hospital bills. After I had my son this office also did my 6 week checkup and wrote a RX for birth control pills. I since then have started to go back to my regular office and have now started to run out of refills. I called the other office from which my RX is out of and they told me that since I hadn't been seen for the yearly exam with them they can not refill it and I would have to call my regular doctor to request a RX from him. When I called my regular doctor they told me that I would have to make an actual appointment just to get a RX written which means that I have to pay another $50 copay. Have any of you had this situation before? Is there any other way around this? I cant wait until my next exam because I only have 2 months of my prescription left and it won't be for another 6 months or so. Help?!

I can't stand it when people cuss out their children in the first place and then they scream, yell and curse at them in public in front of everyone. I was just at Fry's on my lunch break getting some miscellaneous groceries. There were two girls probably like 3 & 4 years old in one of those car things they have on the front of shopping carts. The mom was pushing them around the store and yelling at them the whole time to stop doing this and that. Then when I was at the self checkout the mom just happened to be there at the same time checking out on the other side. One of the little girls started to get out to come "help you scan stuff mommy" when the mother started to scream at the top of her lungs "get back in the d*** cart and sit your a** back down. I mean I know kids can be frustrating at times but come on do you really have to scream at the top of your lungs and cuss at a 3 and 4 year old? Would you parents have felt this was inappropriate behavior either in public or in private?

Just thought this was awful and had to share and see what other people thought of this.

I have a friend who has a friend of her mom's that is a single mother. She just had her baby prematurly at 34 weeks and has no money, clothes, baby items, or food for her baby. My friend is collecting items to take to her. I usually watch the free section of craigslist and see a lot of baby clothes for free. Of course now that I have been looking there is nothing showing up. If you were looking for free baby items where else whould you look?
