Okay Moms....I need your help on ideas for 1st Birthday Thank You cards.......?
I'm already 2 months late on getting the thank you cards out for my son's birthday party. All i have to do still is write in them. The gifts were not written down so I just need a general idea of what to say and I am stuck. I already have this much done to them if that helps with the ideas.

I just put "thank you so much for sharing our special day with us & for the (insert present here)." If it was something my son loved, I would include that as well. Just thank them for their thoughtful present.

The poem is great! How about something like "Thank you for helping us make Ethan's first birthday a memorable one. Your gift is a real hit!" Also do you have a picture of him eating the cake or snapshots of the guests. Maybe include one of those in with the card.

For the future if you can take a photo of your child with each gift they get. This is what I have done. Also sometimes we have the gift giver in the photo too.
What I usually do is say something like "Thank you (name) for your gift. (name of child) loves it!"
