Do boys think girls are immature too?

Yes. At times they think they are the most delicate flower in the garden. Most lack an understanding and acceptance of issues outside of their own lives, despite making themselves out to be humanitarians. But the 2 things that truly irk me about the pubescent girl: spelling and relationship ideals. You said you don't mean relationship wise, but that is where many of their faults lie. They tend to go into every relationship thinking it will last forever and they will be covered in red roses of love and adulation by their partner. And nobody achieves this. This leads to a sort of 'antagonism' against men in relationships. Girls then regard every male with an equal amount of enmity. Just 5 years teaching in the public school system and I've already heard every relationship grievance in existence. And then there is the internet.

For example, there is a adage that is now common among teenage girls: Behind every beautiful girl, there's a dumbass guy who did her wrong and made her strong. Not only is this a completely misandrist statement, but it implies that for every "beautiful" girl, there is a dead beat guy who somehow "did her wrong". We have a lot of supposedly pretty girls. Nowhere does it imply that there are any redeeming qualities within the guy, and we are just supposed to automatically assume that it was the male at fault in the situation, and that the female did everything right. The worst part is that this is a common belief.

Spelling is the second thing. The female is gifted with an innate ability to empathize with others and to communicate in the most advanced of ways. This finesse, however, does not show up on my test papers. I can understand the draw of the recent texting boom, but it doesn't belong on my papers.

Note: I do not try to personify the entirety of the pubescent female race with this answer. I am just stating findings that I find to be immature behavior. But this is YA: they will call me a chauvinist anyway (after looking it up in the dictionary, of course).
