Question about Norton?

Symantec's Norton 360 is a complete anti-virus security protection suite. Norton 360 is used to monitor your computer to protect you from threats and also scans to remove any existing problems. There are many reasons you may want to completely remove Norton 360 from your computer. Common reasons include wanting to upgrade to a newer version.

REMOVING STEPS:

Step 1 Download the Norton Removal Tool from Norton.

Step 2 Go to "Start -- All Programs -- Norton 360." Select "Uninstall" and allow the uninstaller to run. Press "OK" when asked if you're sure you wish to uninstall.

Step 3 Double-click the Norton Removal Tool you just downloaded to begin the removal tool.

Step 4 Press "Next" to confirm you wish to remove Norton 360. Follow the prompts in the removal wizard to complete the process. You will be asked to remove some shared files that are no longer in use by other programs. If you're uncertain about any of these files, select "No." For almost all users, the files are not needed and you can press "Yes to All."

Step 5 Allow your computer to restart. The wizard will automatically begin again to remove more files. This process may occur two to three times depending on the version of Norton 360 you have.

Uninstall 360 first.
